If someone was to call me and tell me to be dressed in 5 minutes ready to head out the door
(not really because who is actually that spontaneous)without a doubt this is the outfit I’d choose.
Don’t know what to wear? Jeans & a t-shirt.
Have nothing to wear? Jeans & a t-shirt.
Want to look like you’ve made an effort, but actually cba? Jeans & a t-shirt.
But understandably this formula can be a little bit boring (not to me) but gives the perfect blank canvass to really play up your accessories.
A great pair of Grandma shoes (if the boyfriend hates them I usually know I’ve picked a good pair), crossbody bag, gucci inspired belt (obvs) and a pair of sunglasses for the non-existent sunshine tend to be my most frequent accessory picks.
So yes, this is a ‘happy’ outfit for me. You know the one that you wear and just really enjoy wearing it? Which probably has a lot to do with the fact it compliments the collection of my granny shoes perfectly, giving me every excuse to show them off (sorry Sam!)
